My GMT Went Into A Coma

Last night I went to wind my Rolex GMT and something did feel right when I pulled the crown out. I felt no engagement in Position 1 (wind). I tried pulling it out to positions 2 and 3 and those functions worked fine, but it would not engage in winding no matter what I did. I tried moving the watch around to see if that would start the second hand and nothing.

It's 6 years old. I guess it's going back to Rolex for a thorough overall haul and fix. Bummer, I'll miss it. Love that watch.

Same thing happened with my Explorer last year. Service time.

Same happened for me on one year old submariner a few years back. Got it back a few days later so it can be a quick fix.

Did you send to Rolex Switzerland or have your local Rolex dealer fix it?
