the bezel collects hairlines very very quickly... mine hasn't change colour though.

Gets scratched pretty easily but it still looks good even with scratches so nothing to worry about. You only will have problems if the lettering goes away from polishing.

Same experience with mine. Unless you refer to the brownish hue of oxidation which takes a lot of time to develop and only under some conditions (mostly in storage), I don't see the YG changing to reddish color.

I had the same for about 6 years or so, it had swirls all over it but it just gave the watch character.

OP- Do not worry about the wear/tear of the watch. Just wear it, enjoy it and make memories with it. It will outlast any of us regardless of how many swirls are on it. I had this watch on me when I got married, when my first child was born and countless other memories. So do not worry about what it looks like on the outside.

scratches much more on the gold parts (bezel, inner links, etc.) than on the steel parts, but after a while a nice patina grows kinda gives it a protective layer (since the hairlines and swirls all blend together).

have seen no color change on the bezel after 2.5 years, but have seen two examples of older zenith models with discoloration.

I've said it before and will say it again - in my opinion it's the most beautiful watch ever made. it's executed with the right amount of everything, making it greater than the sum of its parts
