I want to replace a black dial What is more beautiful, a black dial or rhodium, what I have now?

I am attaching pictures of the watch

.
Welcome to the Forum!

I would not change the dial, I do not think the black would make that much difference.

Excellent as it is!

Dukes_06 17 May 2023 07:19 AM

Slate dial is the best looking one IMO but most people would say blue

Wcdhtwn 1 June 2023 09:06 AM

Keep the slate/rhodium.

Skully 7 June 2023 05:39 AM

Rhodium for me

Snowballs 8 June 2023 04:12 AM

Rhodium for the win. Looks very classy IMHO

Kreyzhorse 9 June 2023 11:17 AM

Perfect as it is.

Gagazazaboy 19 September 2023 10:49 AM

Its already perfect.. i would keep it

assetappeal 25 September 2023 05:10 AM

Looks perfect the way it is.

Abstruse 2 October 2023 06:26 AM

To be honest, Rhodium has it’s own charm..

watchplan 5 October 2023 09:12 PM

definitely Rohdium

Calatrava r 19 October 2023 08:23 AM

I think rhodium has more character than a black dial.

Kenwiin 22 October 2023 06:36 PM

Rhodium!

NewYorkRanger 15 December 2023 07:41 AM

I prefer black - all in or all out. But it is personal preference.

T.T. 10 January 2024 06:14 PM

I would stay with black!

Welcome to the forum:cheers:

You’re considering a dial swap at RSC?

HHIslander 11 January 2024 10:00 PM

I’d stick with the black. It’s perfect as is. For DJ, it’s either black or white for me.

dany959 24 October 2024 07:30 AM

Black looks formal and rhodium more sporty. Can’t go wrong with either though.

winst 24 October 2024 08:08 AM

I would go for Rhodium.

If I were in your shoes, I'd have a hard time choosing too. Black is such a classic, and you really can’t go wrong with it – it’s got that timeless, versatile look that works with everything. But if you’re looking to add a bit of uniqueness, rhodium might be the way to go. It’s got this subtle shimmer and looks different depending on the light, which gives the watch a bit more character without being too flashy.

Honestly, if I had the black dial already, I’d be pretty tempted by the rhodium just to shake things up a bit and give the watch a fresh feel. Plus, the rhodium dial has this sleek, modern vibe that makes it feel a little more special. But at the end of the day, it all depends on what look you want to go for every time you glance down at your wrist – classic and understated with black, or refined with that unique rhodium touch.

If you make the switch, be sure to post some photos! It’d be awesome to see how it turns out.

Black for me

Dadswatches 18 November 2024 07:08 AM

Get a Rhodium and you’ll be glad you did.

nrhiture 18 November 2024 09:36 AM

Both are classic but I'd lean more to the black dial.

Nerya 11 December 2024 07:51 PM

Well, I think black makes a statement. So, go for a black dial.

Przemek 24 December 2024 05:54 AM

Black - too common a color.
Rhodium - looks amazing, not obvious, from light to almost black. It looks much better in real life than in photos.
I am not objective because I have DJ41 rhodium

watch photographer 7 January 2025 04:41 AM

rhodium dial with a fluted bezel and jubilee bracelet really has wrist presence. it all just works. I say leave black to sports watches

Bazil 7 January 2025 04:59 AM

Neither … splash of green required ….

KatGirl 14 January 2025 01:37 AM

black dial or rhodium?

Have you considered slate Romans? (Wimbledon?)
