FS: 1973 Omega Speedmaster 145.022 Serviced + Extract
 

Hi,

I’m pleased to offer an Omega Speedmaster 145.022-71.

This one is just back from service and refinishing at vintage Omega specialist TM Watch Co.

DIAL AND HANDS: Tritium step dial with overall sharp, bright appearance. Indices have taken on a slight mint green hue not uncommon for Speedies of this era. Minor lume loss in hands. The chronograph sweep hand is a NOS tritium replacement installed at service.

CASE: Laser welding was done to correct an over-polished lug tip, and case was beautifully refinished. My photos don't do it justice, but they did a great job.

BEZEL: Dot Near Ninety (DNN) with mild fade, and slightly blown out font. Color varies from black to grey in different lighting.

CRYSTAL: Signed Omega crystal, buffed at service.

CASEBACK: Good condition, no opener marks, clear model number engraving on interior, and crisp hippocampus on exterior.

MOVEMENT: Calibre 861 with 328XXXXX serial number is freshly serviced with new mainspring and functioning perfectly. TM Watch Co’s 1-year warranty does not transfer to the new owner. So if you have any mechanical trouble for the duration of the warranty, you can ship me the watch and receipt and I’ll take care of it.

BRACELET: Trapezoid logo 1171 w/ 633 endlinks. Moderate stretch, good condition. One spare link included.

ACCESSORIES: TM Watch Co. service receipt, and Extract of the Archives showing production in December 17, 1973 and delivery to the USA.

Overall a great vintage Speedy with a crisp look. Freshly serviced, pressure tested, and ready to wear.
