FS: Seiko 6117-8000 Navigator Timer GMT, 1969, Silver Dial, Ghost Bezel, Serviced
 

For sale is my Seiko 6117-8000 Navigator Timer GMT from April 1969 with the uncommon silver dial (with hints of champagne), proof dial, and proof caseback.

Case measures 38mm x 45mm and shows wear consistent with a 54-year old sports watch, as does the bi-directional ghost friction bezel, which rotates properly and stays in place once set. Acrylic crystal has a few marks.

Automatic 6117A movement with quick-set date was just serviced and has been running +/- 5s/day (as with any vintage watch, YMMV).
