How about an area where people can make donations? Whether they donate clothes/material things etc......! And whoever wants it can just pay for shipping! Just a thought!:cheers:

Nice, thoughtful suggestion, but I really don't see this as a forum that would be of major benefit or utility to the forum members. Also it would lead to the general sale of merchandise on the forum where people build the price into the cost of shipping and handling.

I'm sorry but this website just isn't a place for trash & treasure.

How about donate for a charity?? Cancer? Breast Awareness? JJ would be number one on the biggest pledger...:rofl::dummy::justkiddi

Charity donations are a legal minefield when organised by a forum or group such as this.
I'm sure many members here make donations to charity/good causes in their own private way and this is the best way to do it.

With regards to the donation centre it is a nice idea but I guess it is inherent to a forum concerning luxury watches that most of the members are affluent and will not have to worry about such things. As Steve also identifies, it could also be abused by people looking to sell their no longer neccessary goods or items.

If you stroll through the boards, you will see that many members offten send gifts or things of interest to other members so you could say a system already exists and is working well.
