Thoughts on Pam753?
Pam753, base logo Radiomir -- Any owners on the forum? Recently visited a Panerai boutique, and liked it quite a bit.
The criticisms that I could find were: (a) Painted numerals (instead of sandwich) and (b) Driven case back (instead of screwdown), although it still retains 100m WR It seems the sandwich style is offered at a higher price point with more fancy dials, which I'm not a fan of. Plain matte black dial is a must for me. So, I guess my question is whether this is a good purchase, or shall I hold back and see if they update it with the above features? Appreciate any thoughts. I would suggest the new, PAM1382.

I looking at the 1086 right now. I don’t mind the painted dial, I like the pre-vendom dial layout so I’m perfectly happy with that. The 100m water resistance angers me… the base logo is a classic for a reason, buy it if you like it!

I went backwards and got a gently used 210. Sandwich dial and exhibition back.

The aesthetics of the 1382 dial, IMO, are far better and they’re a callback to vintage dials. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

So, i would not worry about type od case back. PP also lowered WR for allmost all the watches, but stating that 30m realy means 30m debt rating. |
