How to List a Watch for Sale
 

Hi guys, I am new to TRF and I have some watches I would like to put up for sale.
I understand that you have to become a pledge member to do so but I am thinking of waiting until the new year to do so as there is only a month left.

Can anybody give a brief rundown of how to list. As in, I am not really sure how to add photos with this forum. It all looks a bit outdated.
And secondly, What info can other people see about you? Are you allowed to put your contact info into the post?

I know it is probably in the rules, but I am finding this whole forum a little dizzying to be honest so if anyone can just give a few pointers on the above and the like it will be extremely helpful.

I would go to the for sale section here and look at the watches for sale. This will give you a good idea of what you should put in your ad.

As far as photos, there are different ways to post them. You’ll have to figure out what works best for you.

Lastly, being a new member here with no previous history on the board or sales, you might have a tough sell on your hands. No one knows you.

Spend a few years here getting your post count up first. I wouldn't buy from a newbie.

Hey guys thanks for the welcome and the heads up. Really appreciated and looking forwards to figuring this all out

If you have references from other sales platforms then it will help you overcome a natural reluctance to deal with a new member.
