Surprise “Inheritance”
In April 2024, my mother passed away from complications of scleroderma. We have been pretty slow about going through her stuff. But my sister finally started and recently found what I believe is a Meisterstuck Classique. The cool thing is that my mother kept almost everything so it included a newspaper clip about the store where she bought it (sadly now out of business) and the case with booklets. She even has refills that she dated in 2006. I’ve got a couple of FPs, but have been switching to rollerballs and ballpoints for daily use. I’m happy to welcome my mother’s pen to my collection. It’s a cool way to remember her every time I use it.

Very cool! Condolences to your family. Montblanc are/were fantastic (especially back in the day).
:thumbsup::thumbsup: |
Condolences.

Appreciate the comments and sympathy. In the end, her quality of life was very poor so it was time.
The cool thing about the pen is that I didn't even know she had it or that she even cared about pens. It is now my primary daily use pen so I think about her every time I use it. |
Very very nice.

I am sorry for your loss.

My condolences

Sorry for your loss. Beautiful Montblanc! Your Mom had great taste! :thumbsup:

My condolences!
Those are lovely pens! It seems you have a Montblanc JFK ballpoint and either a burgundy MB fountain pen or a rollerball. Not sure what the top one is. I would like to see them uncapped. |

The nice thing about your mother's pen is, as you state, the memory of her when you use it. That must be lovely! I envy that. |
