Anyone interested by Zenith's 160 anniversary models?
Pretty amazing to me

It’s a meh for me. Plus, I don’t like the 4 o’clock crooked date window, so that’s a deal breaker in and of itself.
The first one is very nice and the cal 135 is stunning
Unfortunately euro 55.000 is a lot even if it’s platinum The 2 other look like cheap plastic |
The different shades of blue don't go together at all on the G.F.J.
Not really.
They went with the AP bright blue ceramic while they should have gone dark navy as AP pivoted too this year. I do think the hand wound is great and I’ve seen it a few weeks ago.
kinda feel like colored ceramics, beyond black or white, should be left for Hublot. odd look for Zenith, in my opinion.
Hard Pass on all of them
First one is nice but I really don’t like the Biver treatment of the cal 135 here.
First one is nice but not at that price.
Its quite clear LVMH brands share everything so the whole ceramic bits are thanks to Hublot and thats where it should remain. I love my Defy 21 but I have no issue in admitting its a Hublotized Zenith the last of the blessings by Mr Biver

How was it possible to miss so badly? yikes..
These are hard to look at
Not for me.
Not at all. Def a pass.
Looks like someone took a chronosport out to the garage and spray painted it with some blue paint from Lowe’s.
I think the Defy is kind of cool, but all over priced by a lot. |
More shitters from Zenith. As expected.

Blue is my favourite colour. But, as Zenith shows, you can have too much of a good thing.
These are surprisingly and catastrophically awful. |
WOW, those blues are intense.
Looks like Zenith isn't popular here

I’m done buying Zenith. Every single one I bought wasn’t as advertised.
Bought a full ceramic Defy and the endlinks and clasp turned out to be PVD and started peeling when it rubbed against the ceramic links. Bought the new titanium defy chrono and the bezel didn’t sit flush to the case so it became a dust magnet. So many other examples. Had like 6 Zenith at one point. It’s like they have no R&D team to develop and test out their watches. Just goes straight from concept to production. :dummy: Quote:

Wow, I didn’t think their QC and build quality was so bad. My issue is that at this point, they are basically a homage company, their design language is woefully lacking originality. It’s a great shame because their heritage is so strong, but they are a pale shade of what they were. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Couldn’t agree more. Build quality goes down and they raise prices by almost 100%. I remember when the 38mm Tri-Color El Primero chrono was $6k retail, now it’s $11k for the same watch except it has a 1/10 seconds chrono that is annoying to look at.
