What was your high school watch?
All submissions welcome….
What wrist bling did you rock in school? I know there will be generational differences here but who cares?! I had a Casio that played a Beatles tune when I was young, but I picked up a Fossil at Mervyn’s (yeah, I’m old) in high school with a cream dial and light brown that I rocked through most of my high school years. Your turn…. |

I don’t remember the reference, but it was a black timex with two blue buttons. I wish I had still had that watch:2:

Got this 36mm DateJust halfway in my Senior year of highschool (gift from my parents for graduating). Of course I still have it. Don't wear it much though....

Basic Swiss Army field watch.

Swatch Irony Chrono—thought I was hot stuff with that ‘aviation’ vibe. Your Fossil beats my cringe phase!

Navitimer. I was quite fortunate to have a very generous mother. I had been “collecting” watches since I was young and it was my first mechanical watch. I was floored. Before that I had some tags and before that Swiss army.

I had a Franchi Menotti field watch from Italy with olive and beige canvas straps. I thought it was the coolest thing. I so wish I knew where it went!

Blue dial integrated bracelet sports watch... You thinking RO or Nautilus? Nope. A 35mm Certina DS Quartz.

GShocks and Swatch...man I loved those watches back then
|
I had a blue and grey Timex that I was very fond of.
|
I had something similar to a TT black Sub. It wasn't a knock-off but had a very similar design. I think it was like 36mm too. I need to find that watch. I really loved it. Can't even remember the brand but I wore that for many years until the crown literally fell off of it.

But not on that beads of rice bracelet - the non-Seamaster, non-Deville models had a different bracelet with hollow rectangular links. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Swatch and if I was feeling like I really wanted to be cool I had a second one that I would wear backwards on the same wrist. Then in college I bought a Bulova dive watch on sale at a department store and felt very fancy.

Mostly LCD quartz in the 1970s, when that was cool :smokin:

My Dad gave me this Tudor Date Day the month after high school graduation in 1988. Someone had replaced the Tudor shield with the crown (if you look closely you can see the holes where the shield was previously). The bracelet was gold plated and not very good. The bezel is yellow gold. Finally began to wear it on a strap. I’ve had it serviced twice in 37 years and it’s still running! The last time I had it serviced I had them apply new lume to the hands. I still occasionally wear it.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...c275c1e9dc.jpg

My first watch was second year of college. Bought myself a Seiko skx009 Pepsi bezel but it was quartz so might not have been the actual skx model but looked identical. Loved that watch to death. Stolen from a car when I was surfing in Hawaii about 15 years later. So bummed to lose it.

An old Longines that I ditched when I went to college. My mother still had it when I graduated college and gave it back to me but it was on a metal bracelet and no longer fit.

A TT Guess watch.
