An excellent actor, I remember he played the part of the murderer on a Columbo episode, i believe in the 90s. He was relatively young. 76 I would consider a full life but does anyone know if he had health issues?

No, but tbf he never looked or sounded particularly 'healthy'

Never watched Cheers, but his Bears Superfan character was hilarious. Met him at a restaurant in Chicago once, very nice guy.
