I prefer the IWC. More legible, and I think the Arabic’s give it a bit more interest:cheers:

IWC for me. It's a nicer-looking watch, and the Breitling just has too many numbers that I'll never use.

IWC for me. Navi is a legend, but just too much going on for me. I just think it’s clean and I prefer the two sub dials as opposed to three.

Both great watches though.

This is a win-win situation for sure. I guess it all depends on your personal preferences and what else is in your collection. That IWC is lovely! Although I'm a huge Breitling fan, in this case based on the specs of each I would go for the IWC.

IWC, but make sure your wrist is bigger than 6.5 inches. Wore too big for me.

I have owned both and for theses two models I would go with the Breitling. I prefer the dial color and setup. You can also add a bracelet as an option down the road if you choose.

I had that same Navi configuration and really enjoyed it. Nice strap. Classic, different. So I went with that.

While I like IWC very much, just not the that model.

For the looks the Breitling for the brand IWC … does that sound stupid?

Breitling for me.

Own neither brand. Would choose this navitimer over the the Portugieser and practically any Navi over any Portugieser. Just personal preference.

Not a fan of Breitling or chronos but I think they have nailed that one. Breitling by a mile.

The Navitimer in that configuration is really attractive, IMHO.

Between those two the IWC but I don’t like the 12 & 6 hole-saw cut outs.

The IWC 5001-07 is a better choice.

As a wild card, have you considered the Longines Conquest Automatic Chronograph. Looks very nice and it's the same league as the others.

Both are beautiful chronographs, as is the Longines Conquest. But of those two, probably the IWC. Easier to read in my old age.

I generally like IWC over Breitling, but this model to me is a bit underwhelming, so Navitimer for me

Cutting the Arabic numerals in half is a non-starter for me with any watch so I vote for the Navitimer.

I normally don’t like breitling but really like that Navitimer

The Navi is an iconic design. The IWC is not- their pilot watches are awesome but this is awful-really don’t like the 6/12 subdial layout even in the variants that don’t have the decapitated numerals but that makes this dial even worse.
