Glashutte New Model Introduction
Not sure what I think of the new annual limited addition seventies that was introduced today. I generally like Pandas but the limited addition Seventies were generally known for the funky dial colors. I do like that they now come with the bracelet and rubber strap.
Curious for everybody’s thoughts. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...3048ff26fd.jpg Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |
Huge GO fan and 70s owner (fab green). I like the red pops on this edition a lot and I like the white dial too. Less sure about the black subdials. End of the day it’s cool but not for me.
I have the bracelet and rubber strap and also the suede strap. It’s such a tall and top heavy watch I don’t find it wears that well on the rubber or leather and I really only use the bracelet. And I have a large (8.25”) wrist. |
grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrros

Love my PanoMaticLunar. Admire the SeaQ. This model, hard no.
|
Not sure how this release was worthy of a teaser
|
Personally not a fan of this case shape, or dial configuration, so it's a no from me...but who cares!
|
Another color variation...yawn.
|
I like it but would never pay the price asked at retail. I prefer the colored dial versions and some of the leather straps. For GO the secondary market is your friend.
|
I’ve always liked t(e look of them, and I have yet to see them in person.
I’m curious to know how thick they are. |

Thank you for that  I too have a preference for slightly thinner wearing watches. That said, I’d still like to see one in person. Depending on the caseback shape, it might work out ok:2: Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Thanks for sharing OP. The GO Seventies is a great line. Thick for sure but at the same time quite wearable.
Very much like this new release, but prefer the simpler layout of my Panorama Date. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...3a016d6ac6.jpg Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
I love it. I’ve been thinking about GO vs Omega and leaning towards GO.
|
Really cool integrated that gets lost in the shuffle of so many new releases.
It has serious wrist presence. I love the window hour counter as you can start the chrono at one of the 12 o clocks and pretty much have a dual time indication. Kudos to GO for including 2 straps. This should be SOP at this price level. |

Indeed a thicc boi Wearing mine right now and it’s at the upper limit of what works on my 8.25” wrist. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...458bbf6e8a.jpg https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...02d61136df.jpg |
I love the dial but hate the case shape

lol good eye!
It was loose, just pushed back in ! If there’s one weaker “link” in this piece it’s the pin and tube system in the bracelet attachment bar that I don’t love. Makes swapping bracelet to strap not as easy as I’d like |

I would definitely not mind having one in my collection.

Nice green dial.

It looks like they changed the system on this watch. Here are some pics from another forum. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...279af12b85.jpg https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...8cc163ff90.jpg https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...67e10c207b.jpg Not quite a quick change, but it looks like it might be easier to switch out the bracelet on this model? I’m seriously considering switching out my green for this model |
Oh that does look like a quick detach. Maybe just pop off w a fingernail or delrin/plastic blade? Def may be an improvement over what I have.
|
Not a fan of the case myself, can’t say I love the dial layout either.
I suppose it’s a matter of tastes. |
Confirmed by GO today - the new bracelet is NOT a quick release, so tools are needed to swap from bracelet to rubber, just as w the current design. Also the clasp is a bit updated but functions the same way.

Yeah, I didn’t think it was quick change, but I was hoping it would be easier than before and it looks like it will be. Tools I can live with, but the friction pin system basically made it so I needed to go to a watchmaker to switch. I’m hoping this will be an improvement in that regard. |
