For long term investment, I’d keep the hulk . Both are very nice pieces. The AP wears large so be aware of that. The hulk is an everyday casual, dressy watch and is as versatile as the AP. THE DEAL You are proposing is a fair trade right now, but I believe in 20 years the Hulk will be worth far more than that piece for which you’re trading—and if not, it will sell to a far wider audience than AP .
So to me, a watch is a watch. I’ll be bored with an AP the same as a hulk but the hulk long term , may hold its value to a wider audience. Ultimately these prices will crash ... this market cannot likely sustain itself forever, and I think Rolex has a universal appeal even beyond patek long term... I may be incorrect, but keep the hulk unless you actually dislike it.. also, talk to people outside this forum about AP and Rolex service costs and headaches..weigh the two long term beyond aesthetics. They’re both beautiful pieces.
At day’s end, do the deal if you really want the AP..Were it me, I’d keep the hulk and know it’s beautiful.
