The strap is a bit dirty,thats why its darker.Nubuck doesnt have a protective layer.Laid bare,so to speak.It accumulates grime and dirt quickly.Its only natural from normal wear.Just take a sponge and liquid soap,wash the nubuck side thoroughly and place in front of a fan to dry.I have done it with mine ...................... It does not disintegrate !!!  and it looks brand new !!!!  |
Sounds scary, but I may give it a shot and see what happens, kinda liking the patina'd look.
