i tried on both the 960(42mm) and the 1616(47mm) and finally chose the 1616. the 960 just lack the panerai DNA. the black case, black dial and thick bezel(hence smaller dial size) make the watch wears even smaller. i also take into consideration the 1616 has the inhouse movement. though i think my sweet spot should be 44mm, hope they can release a new 44mm submersible this year.
