Hi All - tried searching first and didn’t see any similar topics; would appreciate everyone’s thoughts/advice.

Came across an opportunity to purchase a used 5172 circa 2009 at a price that’s relatively consistent with the market (ie. No significant discount for age)

Just curious if any thinks the age of the watch should matter both from a longevity , value etc? Or as long as the condition is mint and parts all good - nothing to worry about!

(Note: not really concerned about the differences in dials and seals from the eras of 5712)
