I can see it in our lifetime that Rolex will finalise their move to exclude all others that don't work under the same roof as provided exclusively by the mothership.
I've seen it already with a reputable watchmaker who used to be highly esteemed and moving in influential realms within the mothership.
He eventually went out on his own like a lot of ambitious and talented individuals, but was slowly marginalised until he was eventually cut off from direct parts access.
I also am seeing signs of it with another watchmaker.
The pattern is the same, with the outcome clear.
In summary, it's going to be RSC or nothing
All the brands are doing it.
