It certainly is very light for sure, feels about the same as the 1661 as far as I can tell from all the wrist times....
Looks good on you, we have similar wrist size I think, and I too love the thinner profile. Personally the brown dial paired with the very dark brown case color (which isn't very obvious under certain lighting conditions) was what drew me to my 375. The tinted/smoked display case back glass is also very cool to look at every time it comes off my wrist.

Cru Jones and SWS65SM good point on refinishing. I guess it's just one of those risks to take with this kind of material. I do take good care of my watches. For example, I have a 10+ year old Rolex Sub that I have swam with in oceans, lakes, rivers, pools, etc. and have worn it pretty much in all kinds of casual and formal events and it only has minor scratches on the clasp/bracelet but nothing on the case or bezel.
