Don't take a hit to the pocket of that amount of money. As suggested here get a black bezel, that will totally change the look of the watch... I think the removal of the cyclops is really neat too... great idea!
The GMT is more versatile than most Rolexs. I love it! Go the black, that will give you the SD vibe with minimal $ spent.
