Don't click if you're only into overhyped watches

Good to know you did click :-)
Here's a watch you probably didn't know it exists cause after all this independent is not well known and this watch is a LE of only 7 pieces.

Svend Andersen is probably THE independent watchmaker cause he ( together with Vincent Calabrese started the AHCI ) way before people like
Vianney Halter, FP Journe, Franck Muller, Roger Dubuis and others were making watches.
Franck Muller and others even were his students at some time in the past.
Svend Andersen worked about a decade for Patek Philippe where he was responsible for the Patek WT ( Cottier based calibre )
I think we can say he is most famous for his WT and when he decided to create his own company around 1980 it was obvious world timers would be part of his DNA.
Together with erotic watches and the montre a tact.

Svend Andersen his Worldtimers

First one was the communication in 1990 ( F.Piguet 9.51 calibre and on top Svend Andersen added an in-house world timer Module )
Second was the Christopher Columbus ( 500 pce limited edition)
3rd , in 1993 the WT Mundus came out
4th was the ref '1884' that came out in 2004
And ( 5th or recently the 'Tempus Terrae')

During the second series he made also a WT with chronograph function

30 were made in yellow and white gold cases. The dials were beige, white and bleu and 21 ' OM.21' were made. (7 in Red gold, 7 in white gold and 7 in platinum)

Anyway, the WT chrono is one I liked quite much mainly because of the size. The first 2 WT he made were imo too small but the chrono with it's 39mm is ok for me.
The chronograph is a Lemania with again an Andersen WT module added to it
