To be honest, I find the way you mention “I am going to Italy” a bit not appropriate. The problem is not the country itself, but the fact you are going as a tourist in a country with a lot of highly populated cities, most of them full of tourists (or at least this was the norm before COVID…) and, as any other big/highly populated city you need to be careful. Whatever you will decide to wear, I would make the same choice for the UK, France, Germany, Greece, Spain,…
