What would you guys recommend? I practice a lot of awareness of my surroundings when I travel but I'd obviously like to avoid getting it stolen off my wrist (which is why I don't think the DD40 is a good idea) or any unnecessary conflict. I also don't have watch insurance. However, I wore the DJ36 to Italy around 4 years ago with no issues so I don't see it being very problematic.

I wore my Batman for a week in Florence a few years back and had a stranger compliment my watch by saying something like “nice watch - is it new?”
It really made me paranoid for the rest of the day so now I’d recommend wearing one you wouldn’t mind having stolen when overseas...
