For a long time I was a 5-digit super fan. Then, one day a couple of years ago I was able to get a 114060 from an AD. That watch caused me to absolutely love cerachrom, and love the classic, simple-yet-perfect dial layout of the Submariner (no date). However, similar to @JRell I felt something was off. I had to convince myself that I loved the Cerachrom so much that I’d overlook the lugs, and the way it fit high on my wrist…

Sometimes I’d think to trade the 114060 for a 14060 – better aesthetics, but no cerachrom, no chromalight, no glidelock, etc. I couldn’t make the trade. Then, the 124060 was released… perfection! It has the wonderful aesthetics of old, but with all the modern enhancements that makes Rolex such an incredible watch today. I traded my 114060 for a 124060 and couldn’t be happier! It looks better and wears so much better on my wrist.

Good luck, OP!
