There is nothing written in stone when it comes to dating guesses for Rolex production.

It is generally agreed that T serials were first seen in the market place in 1996, so an argument could be made that they were actually manufactured in '95 in order to get there. But, again, nobody has truly scoured the world to know exactly when T's were first seen - charts are guesses.

However, a Swiss Made dial on a T serial would likely indicate that the dial was changed during its lifetime, not uncommon at all for 30 year old watches.
