You would be nuts to trade a batman and pepsi for a rose gold GMT. Not only has it always been pretty easy to get, relative to the batman and pepsi, but its at historical highs right now and will give up the most if the broader watch market softens.
People have forgotten quickly how just ~4 years ago you could pickup PM sports models for 30-40% off on the secondary market...
Anyway, when it comes to Rolex, its SS sports or bust.
