In fact its good to be informed about price and movements on ANY purchase in life really. Its just being financially educated, updated and savvy.

You wouldnt buy a car or a house without being up to date with markets and these days watches sometimes cost more than either.
Except the stated purpose of this forum used to be to discuss Rolex watches, not investment potential, shopping advice, relationship building, prices rising, prices falling, comic book names, avoiding tax and guessing about anything.

Being informed is one thing, looking at one website, one day and making a factual statement about what the market is doing is simply absurd.
