Thanks, Caroline. Interesting read. How can you miss with Fleming and Hvorostovsky and Vargas. Ah, the Met does get the best.

We're going to try to get tickets to thee live Met performances this year and then a few more in HD.

I don't know if you've been to any of the HD performances, but they are wonderful. I especially like the intermissions where the performers and/or the conductor are interviewed. You get a real backstage view as the stage crew is setting up for the next act and someone is standing there being interviewed.
