According to many posts in this forum, no one notices other people's watches.
If you're not comfortable wearing it, then don't.
While you're at work, you should wear something like this Timex Marlin, unless you need to keep time in more than one timezone while at work.
If not, the Marlin is a nice looking watch that won't draw too much attention.
If you do need your GMT at work, have the bracelet brushed or do it yourself.
I personally don't believe that PCLs are too blingy for anything, except maybe mud-wrestling.
