I have a long love/hate relationship with Panerai as a brand. I was in deep in the early to mid 2000's and then moved away for a number of reasons. I am back now and have reconciled my feelings and thoughts on the brand and enjoy the watches greatly. I had admired the 233 from afar since it was released and the domed crystal really makes it for me. I have the dot model and with the strap options it might be one that never leaves the collection. I also own the 317 that is a similar blacked out watch with the AM/PM and chronograph. The 233's are difficult to find in the condition a collector would want and the price are strong. I would not sell it. Give it some wrist time, change the straps and enjoy. Let us know what you decide.
