It’s 100% electric, has a driving-range of 250 miles and a flying range of 100 miles. Doesn’t sound very impressive and at a $300,000 price tag will for sure be a novelty for people like Chewey, but it IS a start. I think there might be some practical uses even for this limited capability model. For example, last weekend I drove up to LA for a friend’s party, about 100 miles. Ever try to drive LA freeways on a Friday evening? Don’t. If Chewey would lend me his flying car, I could have gotten up there in less then an hour, re-charged at my friend’s house during the party and flown home. Now THAT, would have been cool

I’m not sure if you need a Pilot’s license or to file a flight plan, and the first deliveries are slated for 2025, but put down your deposit now and one of the first will be yours!
conclusion: I realize the capabilities of this are extremely limited, but, it is a start, and if the FAA believes in it enough to make it the first to receive certification maybe we are on the road (pardon the pun) to the Jetson’s predicted future.
