A SS Submariner is the choice. I would go with the 114060 or the 124060, which are the No Date model. Perfectly balanced dial and a bracelet that can adjust to any changes in your wrist on the fly. The DD is nice but a choice for down the road and a TT watch is just that, TT. The Submariner is a great place to start and for some to finish. You will not regret a purchase and the watch will serve you a lifetime, even add the DD or others down the road. Good luck and let us know what you decide.
