People have submitted pics of actual damage and have been torched because of it. No matter what you do, there will be the Rolex White Knights who think Rolex never does anything wrong, their products are indestructible, and Rolex is simply a charity donating all profits for the good of mankind.
Of course there are people that post fake stuff but those are usually pretty easy to determine.
And yes, this forum is a lot about "flexing" and that is ok. If you can't flex your watch purchases on a watch enthusiast forum then where can you? :)
