I can't speak to the bracelet's long term durability but it is not flimsy and feels just as solid after a couple of years. The clasps are the same for the Oyster and Jubilee bracelets on the GMT Master II. The tapers are identical. The Oyster is not remotely uncomfortable but the Jubilee is even better. I have both bracelets but since putting it on Jubilee I haven't wanted to go back.
