Part of the reason you like Rolexes is because they're a snobby brand. You may not want to admit that to yourself. Similarly if they were easy to get you wouldn't like them as much either.

I worked in branding for a long time. This is basic stuff.

No, here’s where you’re wrong. They sell watches in stores where their customers are located. That’s true. For example, there is not going to be a fishing store selling bait and tackle in the middle of a desert. There is some thought and science behind where businesses locate their retail outlets.

But some of your comments are completely off-the-rails in terms of why you think stores are located where they are.
