One year my wife made Christmas cookies for our dogs.

My son and I come home, and we see them spread out on the counter top. So we decided to try them. lol

We were literally gagging and talking about how awful they were. We had no idea they were for the dogs. I remember saying, “there is something seriously wrong with these.”

We still talk about that every Christmas. BTW, my wife actually makes really good cookies for humans, too.
