I’m with Brian on this—Panerai is the ultimate two-hander, with maybe a small seconds hand at most. I’ve owned plenty over the years—Regatta, Tuttonero, green dial, 687 beige, you name it. But at this point, the only ones that have stuck around are my Bronzo and the most basic 111 with OPX movement.

Right now, I’m looking to bring a Radiomir back into the collection, specifically a simple PAM183 Black Seal. Why? Well, over the years, I’ve built up a solid collection of straps, including some great OEM 27mm Radiomir straps. Adding a basic Radiomir back in gives me a way to put all those straps to good use. Plus, as a low-key summer beater that doesn’t attract too much attention, a Panerai is hard to beat.
