My AD said they received 1 since release. Just don’t understand why these have unicorn status. Other brands produce Titanium watches (albeit grade 2 only) in decent quantities. Rolex at it again…[emoji849]

You’re right, Rolex is at it again by doing better than all the other brands.
The titanium that Rolex is using is a certain variety of grade 5 titanium.
Why did they use this variety ? Because they can apply a whole complicated process to it in order to be sure that the polishing will be perfect. They even patented this process. And when you see that there is so little surface that is polished on this watch, you can imagine how much Rolex are looking for perfection.
I can guarantee you that no other brand does that. They use the first grade 5 titanium they have and polish it.
So yeah, it seems like ordinary titanium but it’s not. And I’m quite sure it explains why it’s hard to produce.
