So Panerai should just go back and make the 2 original watches and call it a day? Everyone appreciates heritage, but there needs to be innovation and evolution. Maybe you don't like the current direction and pricing, but that doesn't mean turn back, just find another way. I do appreciate the diverse materials that Panerai uses - currently have gold, bronze, steel, ceramic, and titanium in my collection. I also love plat watches.
I definitely disagree on this watch - and may go for on the secondary market. I think it is unique and stunning. Will it hold its value - unlikely - but that isn't my focus. I never thought I would consider a complicated PAM (aside from a GMT), but the Italian letter and interesting month indicator are intriguing. I also love the dial. Maybe.
