Hey everybody! First post here and first Rolex.

After seeing the items in the Anthony Bourdain auction a few years ago in 2019 and his blue Rolex OP Date go up for sale (google Bourdain auction since i can't post links), I knew that was the first Rolex model I wanted to buy once the time was right and could afford it.

Then after the long....loNG.....LONG road of paying off my student loans in 2023, I knew that was the right time to reward myself. I started looking online for the same model as the Bourdain watch, but found something a little more interesting to me, the datejust 36 blue dial and with the roulette date since it was something just a little different and a little more rare/hard to find. So after a year and a half of looking for the "right" one, I found my grail watch online just before xmas 2024... and I love it!
