I use Medical Alert for my mother. She wears it on a necklass or wrapped around her wrist. It has a fall detector and it works very well. In fact a little TOO well at times. She has had it go off without falling once or twice and they call immediately to check on her. If she replies all is well that's the end of it. Any lack of respnse and the ambulance is sent. Highly recommend for anyone with older relatives living on their own. There are many different companies that offer this.
