After a 7 year or so watch journey that touched multiple Pateks, many Rolexes including PM models I have found myself really looking towards Tudor.
With the way the world is at the moment I find Tudor so much easier to wear out and also travel with. They are also actually delivering on what people want. I recently picked up a Tudor BB Chrono Blue boutique edition. The jubilee like bracelet is very comfortable, the T-Fit is almost as good as glidelock, it’s a beautiful blue and has a date which I really enjoy having on a daily driver. This watch has none of the baggage of wearing a daytona, no hype, no worrying about covering it up in certain areas etc etc. I don’t care if I get sand in the bracelet links when I’m off to the beach etc. The watch is so much more legible. It will be interesting to see how much wrist time this Tudor takes from my 3 Daytonas. I suspect a tonne…
It’s just pure enjoyment… The way watch wearing should be.
Now if Tudor could add display case backs, that would just be the best.
