Very interesting thread :)
I though that any movement part requiring to be changed would be covered by the base price. I only have experience from Omega service which has slightly more expensive base price but they change everything the movement requires + new hands + new crown and pushers + polish + spring bars (bracelet and case) at that price.
Does anybody have experience from servicing a DEEPSEA? Is the price higher given the more sophisticated water resistance testing?
