Whatever you wear, make sure you are OK with marking it up a bit- the bracelet, clasp. lugs, bezel (potentially), even the crystal. Branches snap back, there may be more than one encounter with tree limbs, branches, rocks, the ground.

Also, your wrist may (will) swell more than it usually does both due to the heat/humidity & the altitude, so you might want to consider going with a NATO strap if you aren't wearing a bracelet with an EZ-link or similarly adjustable clasp. (You might want to throw an extra spring-bar or two in your dopp kit (jic).)

For me, Explorer II or a 6-digit Sub would fit the bill just fine.
