Dare to explore outside Rolex

Hi all, As many of you, I'm a Rolex lover.....I have collected several 5 digit references such as 14060M, 16570, 5513 etc even a 1655 Explorer, plus some modern ones like 114060, 126710 BLRO etc. Each and all of them have gotten my admiration in craftmanship, robustness, value retention and recognition.
Thus I love them.
But last week, I was offered two Vacheron Constantin...a Fiftysix Day-Date and an American 1921.....and I must admit that I'm in awesome!!!!!
Those are impresive watches with Geneva Seal movements and really really fly under the radar of robbers or any unwanted attention.
I must confess I was looking for a " Bruce Wayne" but my Grey market dealer ( sorry but true, I hate wait lists) offered me those two VC's, and I can not be more gratefull and happy with them.
Impressive and superb finishing, strong brand history, kind of "Uncommon watch pieces" ( at least withing my watch friends who all have at least 2 Subs an 3 GMT's)
A friend of mine who is very distant of watches asked me about my VC and I told him each costed me $500 hundred bucks and he didn't hesitated in believing it.
I wear them everywhere not worried about specialized robbers bands who can detect a Sub or GMT at 50 or more feet of distance immediatelly.
My point is, Rolex is awesome!! But sometimes it's good to try other options; I know must of us " Watch Nerds" own assorted brands such as Tudor, Omega, IWC Panerai etc.
But wearing a " Holy Trinity" watch with really superb quality and almost being unnoticed is a very nice experience.
My humble and novice experience that I wanted to share.
Regards.
