One point of clarification because I was (am) a lume newbie... I was initially disappointed with the lume of my Czapek Antarctique overnight because it wasn't very bright, but over some use I realize it actually is reasonably visible all night if it's dark out once my eyes have adjusted. If there is ambient light then the lume disappears, but in dark conditions I can definitely read the time. It's not a lume monster, but it's very adequate.
I don't know about Lange lume in particular, but if you were to test it, make sure to test it in the dark and once your eyes have adjusted.
