Actually, this is not the case for the large diving watches.

The size of the watch cases vs. the size of the dial on these is interesting.
The case sizes go up with the YM at 42mm, the Seadweller at 43mm and the Deepsea at 44mm. However the dial size goes down with the Yachmaster being the largest at 32mm, the SeaDweller with a dial size of 30mm and the Deepsea the smallest at 28mm. I looked at the Deepsea Challenge yesterday and with it's 50mm case it has a 29mm dial at the most. This is all completely understandable due to the increase in each watch in depth capability.
