As I turned to leave with my son, I looked him straight in the eye and wished him Happy Holidays, but with a look that would hopefully make him question any nefarious ideas he might have had.

I'm not usually paranoid, and have no problem wearing my watch anywhere, but his looks made me more uneasy than usual.
