Can anyone comment on how many ounces of gold rolex actually use in these?
I know there suppose to be solid but at $680 a ounce I cant believe rolex can get 3 ounces to make the whole watch.

The 16613 is the TT Submariner. It weighs 150 grams as compared with 135 grams of the SS version.
The extra 15 grams of gold actually equates to around 30 grams of actual gold content in the watch. Don't ask me how I worked that out 'cause I didn't. It was worked out by some other guy on another forum a long time ago.
Now 30 grams is around one ounce of gold. So that's the amount of gold you actually get with the watch.
I know you pay an extra $2650 or so for the TT version, but that's just the way it works!!
The TT models will always be
comparatively more expensive than the SS ones.
